can we PLEASE spread this around tumblr!? the medical field is so fucked up!
My mom needs to see this
signal boost because i did this treatment and it helped me beyond words. it got me out of a wheelchair to walking with a walker and it allows me to get out of bed every morning. i owe my life to this plant, which has helped me more than any aggressive medication regimen i’ve tried over the past 15 years.
if you have the opportunity to try this and you suffer from a chronic illness, i highly recommend it. also, i’m here if you have any questions!!!
Here is another thing you may not know with the medical industry. My dad has been doing chemotherapy for a year and a half. He is now cancer free but the VA hospital still wants to give it to him for another 2 years. He’s 65, has no immune system, and if the treatment kills him, they would consider it complications due to cancer. Once again, just to remind you, HE IS CANCER FREE!!! WTF!
Q:Hello! First I wanted to say thank you for running this blog and second for being some of the most reasonable people out there. So, I have a dumb problem: I go to an APP member for all my piercings and jewelry. When my family and friends hear how much I pay for these things, they think I'm nuts and that I am "being sold up" on "something that shouldn't cost that much". How do I explain to them why the piercer charges what he does for his services and jewelry and why it's appropriate?
That’s a bit tricky. If someone doesn’t care about high quality, or if they see it as “just a piercing” then it’s not easy to explain why quality not only costs more but is worth more.
Sometimes you can relate it to something else. Why drive a nice car when you can buy a junker? Why eat a fine meal when you can go to McDonald’s? Why wear designer clothing when you can shop at Walmart? Why buy a nice ring for your finger when you can get costume jewelry? It’s all about how much you care about yourself and what you think you deserve.
Why spend a bit more for hand polished jewelry, made of implant certified material, internally threaded, and with a nice gemstone setting?
Don’t you really just want that $5 “belly ring” that looks like it’s made out of the same metal as a paper clip? I mean it has a genuine plastic gem glued onto it just like your cellphone, and it has a cute little dragonfly hanging down and says “sassy lady” in glitter. Isn’t that gorgeous? So what if it will fall apart in a month, or turn your skin green. You saved a few bucks to get it!
And before anyone gets upset and calls me a snob it’s not always about spending a ton of money to get something nice. I can set someone up with great body jewelry for as little as $20, anything more they want to spend is up to them.
